Sundial at the Exploration Station
  One of my favorite places to go with my family in Grover Beach is Exploration Station. A huge sign across the entire front of the building dares us to Explore, Dream, Discover. When we approach, the discovery begins on the interactive sundial patio. In the Station, there are many more experiments and activities we are able to play with for hours of fun together. The Station building was once a firehouse which lends itself perfectly to the science center. High ceilings are ideal for hanging exhibits. The station doors roll up to let in the outside, and add an industrial feel. A wonderful place to explore science. I think learning is always best when it is fun and the interactive exhibits at the Exploration Station are a wonderful family learning adventure. |
